Just learned of https://www.webnames.ca. I can’t vouch for their quality, but they are Canadian owned and hosted. Reading their About page, they’ve been around for a while and managed the original .CA domain registrar. I recognize some of the founders.
They’re not a co-op, but I just switched web hosting from a US-based provider to FullHost.com (in the Calgary datacentre, but they have a few across Canada). Canadian company, not built on top of US-based cloud platforms.
I suggest adding Web Hosting Canada (whc.ca) to the list. Like Funio, they are based in Montreal and have their data centres in Canada. They offer fast servers and a range of packages to suit many applications. I’ve hosted my sites with them for many years, and I’ve been happy with their services and tech support. I can recommend them. I also use them as my domain registrar, and I’ve found their prices to be competitive.
Another interesting company is 5centsCDN, which provide CDN services. They seem to be geared towards video delivery but there are other normal CDN’ey stuff that are offered. Prices seem fair.
Xenyth — Canadian cloud hosting provider. Seems to be owned and operated in Canada. They are located in a datacenter in Toronto, but the datacenter itself seems to be owned by a US company.
